La vie d'en bas

“Sitting in a wheelchair implies a different angle on life. From where I watch the world, the light falls quite differently. Objects, stories and people send me another light, unlike the one you see from up above. So come and take a seat in my chair, and together let us discover life from down below.”

Gérald Métroz lost both legs at the age of two and a half, in a train accident at Sembrancher station. After walking for more than thirty years on prostheses, he travelled the world in a wheelchair as an elite athlete, journalist, speaker, manager of professional hockey players, writer and musician.
